Melissa Wenzler, RN, IBCLC
Melissa is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse with years of experience in women's health. Melissa started Healing Hands Lactation because she has a passion for helping new and expecting mothers meet their feeding goals with compassionate care. As a breastfeeding mother Melissa understands navigating postpartum, motherhood, and breastfeeding can be a challenge. With her expertise she has been able to support and help many mothers overcome feeding challenges such as low weight gain, low milk supply, pain with latch, tongue and lip ties, and more. Melissa offers a holistic approach to breastfeeding by addressing root cause issues. Melissa would love to care for you and your family today!

Melissa is contracted through The Lactation Network, and accepts United Healthcare and Aetna. Follow the link bellow to request an appointment. Melissa also offers mothers a self-pay option. Self-pay mothers are given a super bill to request reimbursement through their insurance. Message or email Melissa for more info.

IN-HOME PRENATAL APT
Melissa offers prenatal appointments to help educate and prepare mothers for successful breastfeeding journeys. Prenatal appointments may include flange checks, basic breastfeeding education, pump help, colostrum harvesting education, and more!
IN-HOME POSTPARTUM APT
Melissa offers in-home support to mothers that may be having breastfeeding difficulties postnatally. Melissa addresses root cause issues of painful/trouble latch, nipple damage, slow weight gain, low milk supply and more.
VIRTUAL APT
For emergent needs or personal preference, Melissa is able to offer virtual appointments to assist mothers and address questions.
